Does a IQ8 microinverter support grid interconnection?
IP30. For installation indoors or in an NRTL-certified, NEMA-type 3R enclosure. Enphase IQ8 Commercial Microinverters support grid interconnection for 208/120 V WYE three-phase applications. For interconnection with systems other than 208/120 V WYE three-phase, a transformer is required to connect to the grid.
Can IQ8 microinverters be mixed together?
Data subject to change. IQ8 Microinverters cannot be mixed together with previous generations of Enphase microinverters (IQ7 Series, IQ6 Series, and so on) in the same system. IQ Microinverters ship with default settings that meet North America’s IEEE 1547 interconnection standard requirements.
How many IQ8 microinverters per gateway?
Do not exceed 276 IQ8 Commercial Microinverters per gateway. Install the gateway as close as possible to the microinverters. Consult Enphase if you need to exceed 75 meters (246 feet) conductor length between the gateway and the last IQ8 Commercial Microinverter in the circuit.
How do I connect an IQ8 commercial microinverter to a PV module?
To ensure mechanical compatibility, order the correct connector type for both the microinverter and PV module from your distributor. The Enphase Frame Mount bracket allows you to attach an IQ8 Commercial Microinverter easily and rapidly to the PV module frame. Use the Frame Mount bracket in rail-less or ballasted solar installations.
Do IQ8 series microinverters need Enphase installer app?
Commissioning of IQ8 Series Microinverter systems requires Enphase Installer App version 3.31.0 or higher. IQ8 Series Microinverters cannot be mixed together with previous generations of Enphase microinverters (IQ7 Series, IQ6 Series and so on) on the same IQ Gateway. No enforced DC/AC ratio and maximum input power.
