A PVT module is composed by 4 main components: a PV cells module, a solar collector/absorber integrated with the fluid flow channel, the working fluid/cooling fluid (Fig. 1) and a thermal storage (water tank or PCM). The Power light company, from 1997 to 2003, managed a PV BONUS project in which they developed a system consisting of a Unisolar flexible laminated PV solar collector glued to a flexible EPDM absorber. However, following delamination of PV modules, marketing was delayed. In 1999, ICEC developed and tested a PVT component with a liquid coolant.
